  • If you are unable to locate your paper in the program, then please contact us immediately at its10@nist.gov.
  • If you are unable to attend the ITS10 then please try to arrange for a coauthor to present the paper on your behalf. If no one is available to present your paper then please contact us immediately at its10@nist.gov and we will withdraw the paper from the program.
  • If you need to make a last minute change to your abstract, please contact us at its10@nist.gov.

Oral Parallel Sessions:

All ITS10 Oral sessions are 90 minutes from start to finish. Most parallel oral session presentations are about 20 minutes in length. A typical contributed oral parallel session has four speakers, so each speaker has 20 minutes to present leaving 2.5 minutes for questions. There are a few sessions with just three (3) speakers. In some cases, there will be an invited speaker in a parallel session. The invited speaker will present first and have double the normal time to speak (40 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions and discussion). A session chair presides over the session and introduces the speakers. Presenters have a power point presentation uploaded into EDAS (See ‘Oral Presentation Uploads below) prior to the first day of the Symposium. We supply a laptop to each of the oral sessions for the presenter to use during the presentation. The Session Chairs will have more specific information pertaining to your assigned session.

Important: Please make sure to identify the presenter of the oral presentation in EDAS. Go to Show paper and find the + icon for ‘Presenters’ and add the name of the author who will be presenting the paper. Only an author or coauthor on the paper can be a presenter.

Poster Sessions:

poster hallAll ITS10 Poster sessions are 90 minutes from start to finish. Poster sessions are open to all ITS10 attendees, and all (about 78 total) posters are displayed on boards during the Symposium, starting on Wednesday. All Posters will remain in place in the Exhibit Hall during the Symposium. About 1/3 will be presented at a time during each of the 3 separate Poster Sessions. Each poster has an available area of about 110 cm x 110 cm to mount and display the poster. The exact size and format of the poster is not specified and is up to the author to decide. Location Assignments will be placed on top of each board.

Each poster board has two sides and is approximately 120 cm wide x 240 cm in width, which is assigned for posting two posters side-by-side. The available area for a single poster is 110 cm by 110 cm. (Actual area could be slightly larger, but this is the safe estimate, an A0 format might not completely fit on the top and bottom edge.)

The poster mounting surface is gray colored, fabric material.

Posters can be attached via push pins or possibly also by using Velcro (hook side).

Some attachment accessories will be provided but you could also bring some of your own accessories if you wish.

Oral Presentation Uploads:

Authors who are presenting in an Oral Session should upload their presentation file (normally a ppt or pptx format) in EDAS by Monday April 3 15:00 UTC.

Authors who are unable to upload their presentations prior to this deadline must contact the session chair as soon as possible and arrange to have their presentation loaded onto the appropriate laptop being used to run the session. An opportunity to do this file transfer will occur in the Speaker Ready Room, “A Ticket” on the morning of the day in which the oral session occurs. But this is not the preferred method to enable the presentation file transfer since there will be a limited amount of time available to perform the transfer.

Mobile App:

The ITS10 will have the program information ported to a Mobile App. The App is ‘Conference4Me’ and is freely available for both iPhones and Android. The App can be downloaded and installed at any time, but we will notify everyone when the ITS10-specific content is available.

Conference Digest:

The abstracts will be published by NIST as a permanent archived document with a single digital object identifier (DOI). Accepted abstracts will be compiled together in the NIST SP2100 Conference Digest and will be available to everyone online permanently at no cost at https://pages.nist.gov/NIST-Tech-Pubs/SP2100.html.
